What is a PICK number,
for International Currency
(a.k.a. World Paper Money)
Treasuredstocks.com has listed Pick Numbers for our
listed World Currency (non-US foreign) notes. Similar to Friedberg Numbers (for information about Friedberg Numbers, please refer to my previous blog post) identified and used for
United States (US) Currency, Pick Numbers refer to a referencing and numbering
system for International Currency items.
This PICK referencing and cataloging system
is based on methods developed by Albert Pick
and described in Standard Catalog of World Paper Money edited by
George Cuhaj.
